72hr film fest entry: Eric Weber’s “The Space Between us”

Gnarcore’s Andrew Campbell created this charming little acoustic guitar score for our friend and filmmaker Eric Weber for his 72hr film festival entry, titled The Space Between Us.

Unfortunately for Weber and his hard working crew, the film did not make the top 8 at this years 72hr Telus filmmaker challenge but it definitely won a spot in my heart. I found the film fun, easy to watch and extremely visually appealing. The thing to remember when watching this film is that they had only 72 hours only to produce the entire thing. This is no easy task. I also thought both Braeden ( the son) and Brian O’brian (the dad, who is also Burton am Spencer O’brien’s Dad) did an awesome job for being inexperienced actors and the entire thing left me feeling really happy about life, which is a must in any of my favorite films.  Stay tuned for more 72hr film fest films, and perhaps more of this Eric Webber character? We can only hope.
