Spike Jones’s “Where The Wild Things Are” -Film Trailer (2009)

 Spike Jones fans rejoice and get wild. To many, It’s no secret that Spike is directing the screen version of Maurice Sendak’s Where The Wild Things Are, but it may come as a pleasant surprise to learn that Carter Burwell (Burn after Reading, No Country For Old Men) as well as The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Karen O will be doing the music for the film. I’m already excited about  The Arcade Fire’s ”Wake up” being featured in the films recently released trailer so i’m sure whatever new songs Karen O is writing for the film will only add to the ever growing indie-rad appeal that this film is already dripping with – the realese date has been set for October ’09 of this year.
