Pizzakarate! -(Rouleau sniffs) Brent(‘s) Butt

 Our friend David had a brief encounter with Canadian TV personality, producer and comedian Brent Butt early this week while attending Van City Theater’s Cinema Salon.

 Cinema Salon is a fantastic little outing for any film nerd. Once A month Melanie Friesen (some chick) invites a distinguished guest to present his/her favourite film. Afterwards audiences members and the guest usually engage in a fully-geeked out conversation about the film. The clincher of the whole evening is the food and snacks that are provided afterwards in the lounge, that and the fact that you can drink in the movie theater. Rouleau also informed me that at this particular Cinema Salon he drank a few too many Strong Bows before hand and fell asleep half way through The Coen Brother’s  Millers Crossing (1990), but “the cheese and crackers afterwards were delightful and at 10$ for the whole shebang, it was well worth the date”. Well way to go dude.
