Gnarcore.com’s Patrick Henry helped produce, shoot and edit a film for the 2008 Filmaker showdown in Whistler this past weekend for the annual Filmmakers showdown. Written and directed by his friend John Fleet and starring a guest appearance by gnarcore shred Chris Rasman. The film, a take on the popular Tv show 24 takes place during the final 4 mintues of the filmmaker showdown as a group of filmakers rush to get their entry in on time. Played out in real time the film saw Henry put in an approximate 40 hours of post production in and in true showdown fashion push what a filmaker can do with little time and almost no sleep. “Four” made the top 8 and appeared in the finals of the Show down. The whole shi-bang was won by non other then Rojn Taylor..we’ll see if we can get that up in the near Future.
